Anushka Sharma who is going to become a mother soon has recently gone through a photoshoot for the famous brand Magzine “Vogue” where she was seen flaunting her baby bump. Both Anushka and Virat are expecting their first child in January 2021, and are very excited alike normal parents. Anushka in her current photoshoot posed with her baby bump as part of featuring on a fashion magazine’s cover where she is giving the major maternity goals.
Anushka shared the magazine’s cover picture on Instagram and wrote, “Capturing this for myself, for life! @vogueindia, this was fun.” This beautiful actor was seen wearing a bralette with flared trousers and an oversized long cream-coloured coat. Her husband Virat Kohli commenting on her uploaded pictures and, wrote “Beautiful”. Anushka had shared many pictures of her photoshoot on Instagram with the caption @vogueindia, where she looked stunning and wonderful.
While speaking to Vogue, Anushka also disclosed her pregnancy journey and her experiences of how she feels during this time and what all she is going through. Anushka told the magazine that due to the lockdown nobody got to know that she was pregnant because people were mostly indoors. “In a way, the pandemic has been a weird blessing for both of us. Virat was around and I could keep it a secret. We would only leave the house to go to the doctor’s clinic. No one was on the streets so we couldn’t be spotted,” she said. Anushka added that during the initial days of her pregnancy, she was in the middle of Bulbbul promotions when she suddenly felt unwell during a Zoom call. “I quickly turned off my video and messaged my brother (Karnesh Sharma, co-producer), who was also on the call, to stall them for ten minutes. If I had been on set or in a studio, everyone would have known”.
Opening up about how her body has adapted to the changes during maternity, Anushka told Vogue in an exclusive chat, “You are more connected to your body, to all that is happening. It’s mind-boggling when I see the changes. It’s amazing.” She added, “I’ve always meditated. It’s a daily practice, and my life has been quite balanced, so I’ve carried that forward. The only difference is that I’ve had a lot more time.”
Anushka has also said that she has been busy designing, a gender-neutral nursery for her baby. “I don’t believe that boys have to wear blue and girls pink. The nursery has all colors,” she says. The nursery is themed around animals. “Both Virat and I love animals and we want our baby to have that bond too. They are a big part of our lives and we really believe they can teach kindness and compassion to children,” she said.
