- 1 CUP CONDENSED MILK
- 2 TABLESPOON COCOA POWDER
- 2 CUP WHIPPING OR HEAVY CREAM
- 1/4 CUP CHOCOLATE CHIPS
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Process of Making Chocolate Icecream:
#1 Take all ingredients and melt the chocolate. Whisk it together with the milk, cocoa powder, and sugar. Whisk until the sugar and cocoa powder get completely dissolve.
#2 In a large bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream to stiff peaks, then fold the whipped cream along with the vanilla extract into the cocoa powder mixture.
Refrigerate the mixture for at least 30 minutes so it is completely cold. This will help to improve the texture of ice cream and allow the cocoa powder to become fully hydrated by the milk and cream.
Give the ice-cream base one more gentle stir and freeze according to the directions of your ice-cream maker—about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
#3 Pour the ice cream mixture into a cover mold with wrapping paper and store your ice cream in an airtight container in the fridge for 6 hours or overnight.
#4 Remove the wrapping paper now scoop out the ice cream, this will help preserve the flavor and texture of the finished ice cream.
A small piece of advice if you want your ice cream softer, put it in the fridge for 2 hours. Take it out, stir it up a bit, and put it in the fridge again for 6 hours or overnight.
