Irrfan Khan’s last contribution to Bollywood – “The Song Of Scorpions”

Late actor Irrfan Khan’s last film titled ‘The Song of The Scorpions’ is ready to hit the theaters in 2021.

Film critic and movie trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced the news on Twitter on Monday. “IRRFAN’S LAST MOVIE… #Irrfan’s last film – #TheSongOfScorpions – to release in 2021… Directed by Anup Singh… Presented by Panorama Spotlight and 70mm Talkies” he said.

Taran Adarsh also posted a short clip that emphasized a message, “Gift you A golden chance to witness the magician on the big screen for the last time!!!”, past which a portrait of the ‘Angerzi Medium’ star Late Irrfan Khan is displayed in the video. The message is about the scene of a desert, which flaunts a blow of wind post in which Irrfan Khan’s close-up shot is taken followed by the announcement of the film release ‘Early 2021’ is Showcase.

“The Song Of Scorpions is a special story and it is truly an honor for us to present Irrfan Khan’s final performance in it. We will be offering this film to the audiences as a tribute to the beloved star of Indian cinema,” said Abhishek Pathak of Panorama Spotlight, who is one of the producers of the film. “We feel blessed that we are the chosen ones to present this gem to the world,” said Gyan Sharma of producers 70 MM Talkies.

The movie revolves around an independent young tribal woman, learning the ancient healing art of scorpion-singing from her grandmother, who tries to overcome a brutal betrayal to find her voice. Irrfan Khan, who passed away in April this year, will be seen in the role of a camel trader who falls in love with that independent girl Nooran. The actor, who was battling cancer for the past couple of years, succumbed to a colon infection at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital at the age of 54 where he took his last breath three days after his mother, Saeeda Begum’s death.
