Chocolate Chip Cookies are a family’s preferred choice from child to old age people as everyone loves cookies. Everyone needs a classic chocolate chip cookie recipe in their repertoire as it’s an unmatched snack to devour with your family. No one can resist eating chocolate chip cookies and baking them at home is a new trend developed in Covid lockdown.
- 1 mug butter
- 1 mug white sugar
- 1 mug brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons hot water
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts, for decoration
Tips and Tricks:
#1. Chill your dough for an hour in a fridge.
#2. Don’t flatten out your cookies.
#3. Bake your cookies at 375° F or 190°C for around 15 to 17 minutes.

Heat oven to 375°F. In a small bowl, mix all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt; then set aside. In a big bowl, mix softened butter and sugars with a mixer on medium speed, or mix it with a spoon for about 1 minute until it’s fluffy.
Beat an egg and vanilla extract until smooth. Stir in flour mixture just until combined (dough will be thick). Mix in chocolate chips and nuts. Onto ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart.
Bake 10 to 17 minutes or until light brown (centers will be soft). Cool it for 2 minutes; remove from cookie paper to cooling frame. Cool thoroughly, about 30 minutes, and then Store it covered in an airtight container.
Use these cookies as a snack with hot and cold beverages. Garnish these cookies for an ice-cream and custard.
